I guess I've got an itch to try out a few flats. Just for the fun of it.
Questions:
1. Do they quilt up at all? My A+A blanket is just one layer and it quilts a bit when I wash and dry. Just curious as I love the quilted look fsr.
2. How often do you change if you just compare to your prefolds?
3. Would you consider using under wool or would you just stick to fitteds there?
Thanks!
Re: Any flats users out there?

Cool. I have flats, but rarely use them. I'm happy to share my (limited) experience.

Not really. I have just plain birdseye flats - not even sure of the brand. They are soft, but not what I would call quilted.
2. How often do you change if you just compare to your prefolds?
About the same as a prefold for daytime - every 2 hours. I pad-fold in a cover.
3. Would you consider using under wool or would you just stick to fitteds there?
While I'll use a prefold under wool for a nap, I probably won't use flats in that way. It's just not worth the risk of a soggy baby.
I never actually fold any of the flats I have except for to make them insert sized, so I am no help, but do update on which brand of flat you end up liking best, please!
