There will be infant tylenol in his future for sure. Calling the dr is not an over reaction, always call the pedi for anything over 100. It may just be a bug or teething but always good to talk to dr and get a game plan. Hope he gets better soon!

We give our child half dose of infant pain medicine and this helps him a lot. Calling for a fever in the 101 range isn't wrong but all they will say is give him some pain medicine to reduce his fever but if it doesn't work or it goes higher then seek help.
Hey man! I feel your pain. My oldest has been dealing with the same thing. We called and were told that 101 is safe to call. Make sure you keep baby tylenol for the lil one, maybe some vicks vapor rub, and if the fever stays at 101, try Baby Motrin.
My little one is feeling a lil bit better today. We almost took him to see the dr, but his fever broke this morning.
Just remember the first 24-48 hours are usually the toughest to get thru but our little ones are fighters and will respond in due time.
We are doing good today. We gave him a cool bath and it started going down shortly after that. It was the first time we had seen him heat up like that, so we were alarmed a little bit.
Ran out and got the infant tylenol, and we have a dosage chart posted on the fridge now. We are prepared!!
My kid was around 100 and we called and i don't regret it, i have no idea what I'm doing and our peds office is full of professionals so i look to them.
