postpartum abdominal/hip binding?

Anyone know anything about compression garments for after delivery? Im interested in a postpartum girdle type thingie called bellefit (or something similar if I find another good option) and I was just curious if anyone has any experience with these or knows someone who does? If they help then I'm all for it but I dont want to waste the $ if its a load of crap...

I registered for one because some nosey albeit very helpful and sweet girl told me she loved hers. Doubt anyone will buy it, so I'm curious to see the feedback on this as well.

I plan on getting a Bella band and hip shrinker.

I actually used the Belly Bandit for awhile and will most likely use it again this time but it is not ideal. I liked that it made me look slimmer when wearing normal clothes, but it's not really something you can wear lounging around the house.  It's uncomfortable to sit while wearing it unless you sit up completely straight. I did kind of feel like a fraud when people would comment on my flat stomach or post-partum weight loss, but it was a good little ego boost. Whether or not it helped me lose the belly fat faster and get my abs back is debatable because I don't have anything to compare it to and I've always been a pretty active person with a muscular/athletic build so I'm sure genetics were a larger factor. That being said, I'm still going to use it again.

Thanks girls, going to try this bellefit.com and hipslimmer.com. My ab muscles were still seperated a bit from DD, and been having alot of hip pain so I am assuming my hips are spreading more. Cant hurt to have a little extra help getting back to normal afterwards!

No advice on which one to buy because I used the one the hospital sent me home with after my c/s, but I LOVED my ab binder and would absolutely recommend one. I could tell a huge difference when I wasn't wearing it and I felt like it really made a difference in my recovery.
