FTM with a Swing Question....

Do we need a swing?  We have the Fisher Price  Rock N Play sleeper and the rainforest bouncer already.  Do we need a swing as well?

    You don't need a swing at all, some babies hate them. Some babies love them and they can be really convenient for those mommies. If I were you and I ha a bounce and rock in play I wouldn't purchase a swing as well

    Our DS really loved the swing, but it's not a necessity.  If you do get one, I'd just buy one used off Craigslist or a consignment store.  Baby gear like swings are generally in pretty new condition when bought used, as they aren't used for very long by baby.

    We never had one. DS loved his bouncer seat w/the vibrate feature on though.

    That's what we had. My mil had a swing but it was really loud and she never fell asleep in it.
