Any of you ladies used this brand before? Just found it at target and I like their accessories and good price point! Just wondering if they're worth it! Thanks!!

Re: tommee tippee

  • Yeah I like them. They're good. I got 2 brand new boxes for this LO at Babies R Us. I think they might be having that deal again. Buy 1 Tommee Tippee product get 1 free. So that was a great deal for all the bottles.

     Tj Maxx has Tommee Tippee products often too, for cheaper than normal retail of course.

  • These were my favorite bottles with DS and they are still his favorite sippie cups! I definitely recommend them!

  • Highly recommend the bottles. The soft sippy cups? He!! No. Ds figured out he can pour everything out if he sticks his finger in them.
  • We love TT bottles and accessories! I BF Charlie for 8 months and we used them to send breast milk to daycare. After that, we switched to formula and got these nifty drop in formula holders that made it really easy to travel. They were cheap too - only about a buck a piece.

  • Am I the only one that finds these bottles to be odd?  The nipple is gigantic.  My nephew uses them and I feel like he's never latched correctly when I feed him.  They are weird to hold for me, but maybe it's because I'm used to a thinner bottle.  I'm not sure what it is about them that I don't like, but I think they are weird.

  • No personal experience but two friends of mine recommended them and the reviews were so good I registered for them. Plus I thought they were super cute ;

    They are definitely weird when compared to other bottles. We chose them because C started out not able to BF and we didn't want him to get used to a standard nipple before even getting a chance to try and nurse. I don't know if it was the bottle or not, but he was able to go back and forth easily when he came home from the NICU and we were figuring out breastfeeding.

  • I've heard so many moms swear by TT bottles, but I have no experience myself. They were not around when I had DD, back then the rage was Dr. Brown's, but these days I'm hearing more and more about TT. I personally used the cheap playtex drop-ins (and didn't even use the actual drop-ins, but just dropped in the milk storage bags). But then again, DD didn't have any trouble switching from breast to bottle, and didn't have any feeding problems, so I can't really relate to bottle differences.
    OMG too many tickers...

  • I have not used the brand, but i plan to with this child. I believe that they are the number 1 rated bottle in the UK.

  • We used Tommee Tippee With DS. I'll admit that I picked them because I thought they were cute, and because we BF and the nipple seemed to be similar to a human breast. When we first tried it with DS he took to it just fine and had no problem going back and forth between BF and bottle. I started my student teaching when he was 7 weeks old until 5 1/2 months and we never had any issues.

  • I wanted to use them, but dd did not take to them at all. I ended up using Playtex brand bottles instead.
