My friend posted this on FB and apparently it's a big hit on YouTube. It's cute but I don't really see anything special about it, or maybe I'm just lucky L has a great dad who loves to play with her?
Im not impressed....mostly because I am a SAHM and know you are just going all day, and not playing. Now if the camera followed him and showed him doing laundry, keeping the kid out of the dog food bowl, vacuuming, washing dishes with a kid clinging to his leg, feeding the kid, cleaning up the food the kid threw on the floor, giving him a bath, emptying the tub because the kid shiit in it, washing it out, refilling it and giving the kid a second bath, putting him down for a nap, racing around trying to switch the laundry, grab the mail, make phone calls and pay bills while the kid is napping and it is quiet, racing to the store, trying to make dinner while tripping over the dog and the kid who is having a meltdown in the middle of the kitchen floor......then I would be impressed.
but sitting in the living room goofing off and playing with Gator all day without a care in the world...I wish.....

Yeah, what she wrote sounds more like an average day

I find it kinda cute and sweet. I agree it's a realistic day in the life of a SAH parent, but I have several friends who's husbands have probably never spent a whole day alone with their kids.
