Welcome 2013 and bring us some babies! Sorry I have been MIA. Would you believe the last of the family left on the 1st and then we all got sick. I feel like I am finally back to reality.
Please forgive me if I missed anyone's update. We welcome every member (graduates, current, lurkers, newbies etc.) to post an update each week. This gives us all an idea of where you are in your cycle or how you're doing. This is such a great place to meet other women in similar circumstances to share experiences, cheer each other on, get info and offer support.

Re: <<<<2IF WEEKLY UPDATE>>>>
Headed to the RE for baseline #2. Last week my ovaries were "too active" so they are pushing me another week. I 100% want to start off where they want me. So, IVF #2 might happen even later. We shall see tomorrow.
DH plays guitar in a band so I went and saw his new band play! It was fun! Then the next morning I had my mom's group over for a pancake brunch! It was super fun and then DH helped clean the house and I feel like I am ready to roll for IVF #2.

First of all, sending big hugs to Jeanna. Happy to see you back here, I've been thinking about you during your absence. Here's hoping 2013 is your year!
Update: Happy to have a singleton on board, and saw baby's heartbeat at exactly 6 weeks, which was 100 bpm. The RE (mine was out of town, so I saw another one this time) seemed very pleased. I have what will be my final RE appt. next Friday if all continues to go well, and then will be released to my OB.
QOTW: I'm a total loser, I stayed in and went to bed around 11. I sent DH to our friends' annual party on our behalf. I gave him a "hall pass" to stay out all night and crash at his friend's house, but he came home before midnight to be with us sleeping girls!
IVF #1: 9/11: ER: 12R, 11M, 10F, No Frosties; 5dt: 2 blasts, 1 morula; DD born 6/3/12

QOTW : we watched a movie and went to bed at 11.
Update: Sorry I've been MIA of late but I needed some time to recoup. Jeanna I'm so sorry to hear about your last cycle but here's hoping IVF #2 is it for both of us and NG congrats on your BFP. I posted earlier but we are moving forward with IVF #2 and just got our new protocol/meds list this past weekend.
QOTW: We just stayed at home and played board games and watched the ball drop on TV. Nothing crazy but it was nice just being with DH and DD this year. NYE is also DHs birthday so he decided that's what he wanted to do this year. We had a big NYE/birthday party last year.

Thanks for the welcome - I hope to be more active on this board, as you all seem to be a great source of support and information!
I am currently waiting for CD1 and then the plan is Bloodwork, Clomid and IUI assuming everything goes as planned with the Clomid. I'm scared to death of multiples but I guess I should just hope one works!! i'm not expecting my period for about another week and this was our last month fo trying naturally, I got the +OPK and our timing was right I think so of course I'm hoping I don't even need to move forward with anything! But I know better from the past
NYE we went over to a friend's house, ate a bunch of food, had some drinks, played some games and slept over. They have 19 month old twins (IVF babies) and we have a 5 year old so the kids played, then went to bed and the adults played! It was low key but really fun.
Just waiting to ovulate which should be next week.
QOTW: We hung out with friends by a bonfire and had a great time!
Rainbow Surprise Baby due 05/26/2017
Hoping for IVF/ICSI #3 in 2013, DH does not seem ready for another consult, he does not even want to talk about it, so I will likely have to cancel our January 20 appointment, boo
It is a tough time right now since we would have delivered our FET twins by the end of January. Wishing everyone well.
QOTW: We drove 13 hours back home from my parents house on New Year's Eve. New Year's Day we mostly relaxed and recovered.
QOTW: We had a low key NYE with our girls. AF actually showed that day so I ended up in bed at 11:30 with ibuprofen and cramps not my ideal start to the new year, but control the controllables I guess!
Jeanna it is so good to have you back! You have been missed. I hope you had a great Holiday and are all feeling better.
Update: Waiting for my beta on Monday.
QOTW: We went to dinner with DD and my parents on NYE. We then went back to my parents house. Nothing major but I did manage to stay up until 12.

I'm just waiting for my first RE appointment this coming Wednesday. I am so relieved I switched from my OB/GYN, she was going to "try a few blood tests" in February at my annual, the RE is going to do a RPL panel and an ultrasound at this appointment to look at things (what things I'm not sure lol, I am a big newbie to all of this).
QOTW: My whole family has been sick, I took DS to the doctors, DH went to bed early, and I ended up watching the ball drop alone then slept in the living room to try and keep from catching what DH has - it didn't work!
I think everyone knows my current status. No offense to this board...it has been more support than I ever could have imagined...but I really thought I wouldn't be here anymore. U/s showed no fetal pole at 6 wks and 4 days. Waiting until next Wednesday to see if something shows up. My RE said he has seen crazy things happen. However, I am a realist dh refers to it as a pessimist and I'm pretty sure that this pregnancy isn't going to work out. I spent a full day crying and have woken up sad every day since...but I'm ready to move on. I'm praying for a miracle, but anxious to get information about FET if that needs to be the next step.
Spent NYE in the ER with pains. Was supposed to have dinner with the in laws and make it an early night. Instead, we left the hospital at 1:30 am and waited in the drive thru of a whataburger with all the drunks. Very exciting. Lol.
update: iui last month=bfn . This month we've decided to take a break from the RE . we're just going to try on our own . no charting, no opks and hopefully no stress! lol . the only thing I am doing this month is acupuncture which I start tomorrow .
QOTW: I had to work this new years eve . I work the overnight so I rang in the new year with my awesome coworkers!
Update: We started IUI #3. Strangely, my RE said I didn't have to wait for a period (my hormone levels were low, my lining is thin and my follies are small ... in short, my ute has been dormant since my last IUI failed). I started taking injects yesterday and tomorrow is my first monitoring appointment. I also just learned that I already exceeded my lifetime max for fertility meds and I'm now out of pocket for that going forward. That's not a very good feeling, but at least I had something covered these last few rounds. Sigh.
QOTW: My uncle hosted a NYE pajama party which was fun. It was a few of our close relatives and there were a few dreary eyed kids at midnight but they stayed up like troopers, my LO included. But we paid the price the next day because LO was a big cranky pants on New Years Day.
MPZ born June 2011
TTC #2 ... Cycle 1-3: IUI = BFN | Cycle 4: IVF ... canceled but 3 snow babies
Cycle 5: FET .. BFP! | EDD - 3/15/2014
Hi Jeanna! Welcome back! So sorry you all were sick.
Update: We are moving ahead with IVF #1. Even as I type this, I can't believe it's actually happening. I'm doing estrogen priming, so last day taking estrogen and progesterone is Sunday and then my baseline is scheduled for Thursday, 1/10. I guess if all looks well, stims start Friday. That's one week from today! Eeek! I hope you ladies will bare with me - I'm pretty nervous about the injections - I'm going to do them myself - so, I'm sure I'll have a million questions.
QOTW: We did nothing. We're in central time, so we watched the ball drop in NY, and then around 11:40 our time, DH went down to the lakefront to take pictures of the fireworks at midnight (photography is a major hobby of his), so I was up alone at midnight here with DD sleeping away.
Thanks ladies for all the welcome back!! I was surprised to see that everyone was so active through the holidays! I thought I wouldn't be the only one MIA!!
Anyway, we are full force into IVF #2, got my E2 back and it was 52 apparently where they wanted it and so BCP till Tuesday and then Lupron begins next week! I sorted needles and organized my drugs (left overs and some donations!!) The bottom drawer in my fridge is FULL and its not lettuce!
BFP on Cycle 14--TWINS! Identical twin boys stillborn at 19wks(1/9/10)

I haven't posted an update in a few weeks since nothing has been going on. I started BCPs for FET #2 on 12/13/12 and will be starting Lupron next week (1/13/13).
QOTW: I had to work on NYE and NY Day and I start work at 4 am, so I was in bed long before midnight
DH also went to bed early, we have never been big NYE people anyways, so no biggie.
