Ladies who have had success with Femara, I have a question! :)

We are attempting our third IUI hopefully next week!  Our first one was successful but ended in M/C last year.  Our second was in November, I did femara days 4-8 and got a positive surge on day 10.  Day 11 I had an U/S with one follicle at 30.  This follicle was at 13 on day 2 of my cycle.  I had hyst/lap surgery at he end of September so I think my body wasn't quite ready and back to normal.  Last month we took the month off, no meds and I ovulated on day 13 which is normal for me, I am usually day 12 or 13.

Today on my cycle day 3 U/S all my follies were at 7 or so, I had 2 on my left and like 4 on my right but there were all small. 

My question is, if you took Femara which cycle days did you take it, and what size and how many follies did you have and what day did you trigger or ovulate?  I have my next U/S on day 10, I didn't want to miss the boat!

I did femara on cd 3-7 the first time, and responded well, got pg, but m/c.  I did it again for the 2nd IUI on cd 5-9.  I didn't respond nearly as well, and was a BFN.  The third IUI we went back to cd 3-7, and got my BFP.  I think I triggered on cd13ish for both positive cycles.  GL, I hope the third time is the charm for you too.

I did Femara on cd 3-7 as well and had my IUI on cd 12 which resulted in my BFP and the little miracle I'm carrying now. I consider myself VERY lucky because he stuck on our 1st IUI while dealing with my PCOS and DH's MFI issues as well. The OB that worked with me didn't do a trigger, so it was all the femara, IUI, and me. If I remember correctly, I only had one folli that was considered "viable" for egg release that was in my left ovary (out of 3 femara cycles to get the dosage right and monitor response, my left seemed to be the only one that cared to respond) and it measured at 2mm on cd 9/10 (it was all a blur so I can't completely remember which day they checked). However, big proof that anything can happen!! Hope this helps.

I took it days 5-9 and I always show a surge since I have PCOS so I would go in at CD13 and they triggered me then with 1-2 follies measuring 18-24mm.  My successful cycle, they held me off a couple of days and I triggered on CD18 with 1 follie at 21mm.  Slow and steady seemed to be the right approach and I got my Evie out of that third cycle.  GL to you!

With DS our third IUI was succesful (7.5 mg) taken days 3-7.  My u/s was on CD 13 and I had 2 follies at 19-20mm and one at 16mm.  I triggered that night (12 hours later) and IUI was 36 hours later on CD 15.

This time we did 7.5mg Femara days 3-7 again but only did TI.  Our second cycle was succesful.  I went in on CD 12 for my u/s and had a 17mm follie, two 15's and a 14.  I triggered about 48 hours after my u/s which was CD 14.
