We've pretty much decided that this baby's name will be Lucy, but we're having a hard time coming up with a middle name. Here are the current ideas:
Lucy Matilda (No sentimental value other than I love the name Matilda but my husband vetoed it as a first name. He seems open to it as a middle name, at least on some days )
Lucy Maria (My other kids have family names - my grandmother's and dad's - as middle names, so this would keep with that tradition and is a variation on several family names. My middle name is Marie, both our moms' names are Mary, and Maria also happens to be the middle name of a famous person that I've loved since childhood. My husband isn't a huge fan and likes Marie (my middle name) better, but I feel like Marie is just too "generic" of a middle name and would like Maria better.)
Lucy Hazel (Nothing special here; just a name my husband has always liked for a girl).
Lucy Mabel (Another cute, old fashioned name that my husband and I both like on its own but not enough to use as a first name. Also happens to be on my family tree but not very close - she was a great aunt. So it's not like I'd be honoring her or anything.)
Any other ideas? Honestly, none of them are front running at this point and they're all my ideas, not his. He doesn't seem to come up with much but isn't totally sold on any of mine either. So I would welcome other ideas! Thanks!

I like Lucy as a nn to Lucille or Lucinda or Louise but if your choosing Lucy as the name I would suggest using Marie. I dont like the way Maria, Mabel or Matilda sounds with Lucy.
Lucy Matilda is my favorite of those.
Lucy Caroline, Lucy Elizabeth, and Lucy Charlotte came to mind.
