Saying hello!

Just popping in to say hello.  Some of you might remmember me.  I mostly lurk these days.  Things are a little busy with very mobile 14 month old (almost 15months on Jan 7th!). 

Hope all your LOs are doing well!  My DS is running these days.  He tries to say few words. So far, he can say mama, dada, bye bye, dog, "whatcha" or what's that while he points at something, ball, no (his favorite), all done and down. He is bottomless pit these days.  Somedays, I think he eats more than me.  His favorite is grilled cheese sandwich with spinach.  I am still BFing morning and at night.  My goal was 9 months and so glad to make it to almost 15months.

Hey, hey, hey!

You and I are in the same boat as far as BF'ing day and night. I'm not even sure she is getting anything at this point and may just be using me as a paci. Might need to start weaning completely.

DD can say dada, baba (dad in Chinese), and mama (although very seldom is it directed at me). She just recently started to say her version of nose and ear, which nobody else would ever guess would be nose or ear. I'm not too worried since she understands what we say. Plus, we are teaching DD Chinese and she can babble in both languages. 

She eats constantly and daycare is always telling me to bring more food because she will try and eat the other kids food. I am starting to think that I just need to feed her the same amount as I would eat at this point. She might also be going through some sort of growth spurt as she gained almost 3 pounds in the past month and a half.

Hope everybody else is doing well. I would love to hear from those who lurk (come out, come out, where ever you are!!) and those who pop in once in a blue moon.

You know, I don't know that I ever really noticed until now how much I can see A in that u/s pic.  Amazing how we got those little glimpses at them, isn't it?

D isn't doing a ton verbally (mama, dada and occasional dabbles at things like bath, dog and ball), but physically and mentally he's exploded.  He's running now (and tripping, lol) and loves to explore.  Just in the last week or so he's started to really grasp how to play with toys the 'right' way (driving cars, banging pegs with the hammer, using toy utensils to pretend eat).  We wrapped up bf'ing a smidge shy of a year, but still do snuggles with some milk before sleep.  Fave foods are berries (esp blueberries) and cheese. 

ETA: For those on mobile, he's just over 15 months.

Hi! Nice to hear everyone is doing well, and the LOs are too. 

 DD is fairly advanced verbally, but only has four teeth!!! She's getting four more as we speak but it takes FOREVER from the time we can see the buds til the come through. She got her first three teeth at 10 months, then her fourth a week or so later... Nothing until now, and they still aren't through.

We are also in the slow Teething club also. DS started Teething end of 9 months. He has 6 and 2 more coming through at almost 15 months and they take forever to come through.
