finished nursery PIPs

May I AW our finished nursery? I finally got it done and am so happy with how it turned out.

The reading corner...my LO won't be able to use this for awhile, but I really like it. We made the shelves out of gutters.

I made the bird wall art and MIL made the crib skirt and H's aunt made the quilt on the back of the crib

Dresser that I painted - my MIL found this dresser at a yard sale for $25 - all it needed was some paint and new knobs! The name letters above the dresser are just $2 white wood letters from Hobby Lobby and I decorated them for cheap.

MIL made the window treatment

The kitties - it is nearly impossible to keep them out of the nursery...stinkers

Love the creativity.

Really great color scheme... I tried to do the same thing, so the room didn't scream pink or too themed. We ended up with lots of beige, but with bright spots of purple and turquoise patterns.

We ordered the crib online from Walmart. It was only 99 cents to ship to our house. It was on sale for $250 when we got it, but it's $300 now. This is the one we got:
