Cloth Diapering

Dryel

I have a dress and a few of DH's ties that need to be dry cleaned, but I never remember to take them. (The dress has literally been hanging up in my laundry room since October 2010. Oops.)

1. Has anyone ever tried Dryel? Is it effective?

2. Is it worth the money for someone who rarely has anything that needs dry cleaning?

3. Is it safe to use it in the same dryer in which I sometimes dry diapers?

Re: Dryel

  • I've used it on some suites once but I really don't think it compared to having it drycleaned. To me it seemed like it just fluffed it and put some scent on it. I wouldn't waste the money. Also it's fine to use in the same dryer as your CDs, just obv not at the same time :]

  • I have washed a few dry clean only things, and it always seems like the outer layer shrinks more than the lining.
