Thank you for thinking your older brother is the coolest thing ever. You're the only person that can get him to initiate affection. Nobody's been able to do that until you came along. And now Chris seeks you out - even if it's just so you'll pull his hair but when you do, he gets this beautiful little smile on his face.
As if I couldn't love you more than I already do, thank you for that little guy.
You are driving me insane with going back and forth with your eating habits. I do not want to have you hospitalized again for this, and I am at the end of my rope. Just when you hit a point that I think you are on track to making some successful strides, you start refusing again. Big time. This has my emotions on a horrible rollercoaster, and I need some stability. I think we will talk to your Ped at your 15 month appt more about a tube, even though I dread that conversation. If I could motivate you in any way to eat, what would that be? Throw me a bone here. Your lack of expressive speech also is a little worrisome, but hey, I will take it over this crappy eating. PLEASE START EATING LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!!!!!!!!!
Thanks.
Love,
Mommy

Dear Mom who rolled her eyes at me and asked, "That is your son?",
Yes, I get that you didn't realize my sons were were mine and are brothers. I know they look nothing alike. And because I'm sure you're wondering, yes they do have the same dad. Unfortunately, I get that question a lot. I do understand that my older one pushed my younger one, but stay out of it. They are my kids, and no, they are super-intelligent angels like I know your two daughters are. The little one was having a whiney moment and getting in his brother's personal space. No, it was not ok for DS#1 to push DS#2 down, but I'm picking my battles! DS#2 also didn't need to be getting in his space and pushing his buttons. DS#1 has a lot of impulse control issues. I promise he isn't a spoiled brat and I promise he does get punished. That particular incident was a very tiny smidgeon of the bigger problem and of my day. Back off. Thanks.
