Need a little help with the big party

I am doing a butterfly garden theme. It is an afternoon party, approximately 50 people(30'ish are family.) I am doing creme puffs, eclairs, fruit plate, and a large cupcake tree(holds around 75 cupcakes), each cupcake will have an edible butterfly on top. My issue is what she should wear. There are so many adorable spring and summer first birthday options. I just dont know what to do- jumper, dress, romper....smocked, applique, or monogrammed? I am completely at a loss and have searched so much online that there cannot be something else out there. We have two extremely nice specialty shops, with brands like The Bailey Boys, don't get me wrong, I do love their clothing, but I'm not trying to spend 100 + on an outfit. What do you guys think?  Here are two things that I found so far that I somewhat like:

I just don't feel like they are very birthday'ish.

  • I like the outfit from etsy best. I'm going to go the obnoxious tutu route because that's just how I am. That might give you the birthday look that you want? But I know that's not for everyone. There would be tons that would fit a butterfly theme on etsy.

  • I do love the tutu's. I made one for my daughter for halloween-she was a butterfly. I keep going back and forth about them since I already did one.

  • I would go girlier.  I like the monogrammed dresses with ruffle trim with a seperate underlay dress.  DD had one that tied at the neck and was pink gingham, and the white underlay had a ruffled edge and was cut like a tank dress.  VERY girlie without being the full on tutu route, and more partyish.

  • I was on Etsy yesterday and saw a few butterfly onesies that could be paired with a tutu or something else.  I bought DD an outfit at a craft show in Oct.  It's just a birthday girl onesie from Carter's but they added strips of tshirts so that it is a shirt without being a full tutu.  It's really cute and it moves when she walks.
