First birthday party and need advice!

Alright, so my daughters birthday is in February. I am doing a butterfly garden theme. It is an afternoon party, approximately 50 people(30'ish are family.) I am doing creme puffs, eclairs, fruit plate, and a large cupcake tree(holds around 75 cupcakes), each cupcake will have an edible butterfly on top. My issue is what she should wear. There are so many adorable spring and summer first birthday options. I just dont know what to do- jumper, dress, romper....smocked, applique, or monogrammed? I am completely at a loss and have searched so much online that there cannot be something else out there. We have two extremely nice specialty shops, with brands like The Bailey Boys, don't get me wrong, I do love their clothing, but I'm not trying to spend 100 + on an outfit. What do you guys think?  Here are two things that I found so far that I somewhat like:

I just don't feel like they are very birthday'ish.

  • They are both cute outfits.  You could always add a big colorful "birthday" bow.

  • For my daughter's party (Jan 26th), she'll be wearing a short-sleeved, smocked dress for the majority of the party. Then when it's time for cake, we'll pull the dress off (leaving on her super cute birthday bloomers!) and put her in a cute tshirt to eat cake in. I don't want the dress to get ruined with icing bc she may be able to wear it again next year, but I don't care as much about the tshirt.

The theme of her party is "cupcake's first birthday", so here's the link to the tshirt...

We also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And HOPE does not dissappoint.
