WWYD: girl room opinions please

M has lavender walls. I really do not want to paint it. How do you think this bedding would look with lav. walls? Everything seems to have pink or the periwinkle blue in it now....not purple like when I did M's room nearly 3 years ago.

  • Love the bedding but I can't see it with lavendar walls.  I think you'd either need to paint or find something different.
  • No, not with lavender.
  • I think it would look okay with lavender but would look much better if you painted.

DD has lavander walls and this is the bedding we got her from Target last month. I had the hardest time finding something that wasn't grossly bright and "busy."

The quilt has been washed 3 times in a little over 4 weeks (thanks to DD's vomit) and it has held up wonderfully -- I was worried about Target brand bedding but so far it's a winner! And Isabella LOVES the polka dot balls on the quilt.

I also like that it has a matching lamp and piggy bank -- both of which we also got!

    GL finding something you like.

  • Youare-that is really cute bedding too!!
  • Not with lavendar walls.... I would paint the walls the green or yellow color in the bedding.

  • I wouldn't do a lavender wall with that bedding. ?That said, I LOVE that bedding! ?I'd do a green wall.

  • Thanks ladies!

I would love to paint her room...but with the basement remodel and the nursery at the top of our list right now, I just know redoing DD's room is a no go right now. Oh well...off to see if Youare's bedding comes in queen (or full that could be OK with a queen bed)

  • I'm pretty sure the bedding comes in queen- it's on Targets website under the "Do Your Room" section, it's called "Preppy Girl" or something similar.
