Clomid cycle

Hey all! I just started my first clomid cycle; 50mg cd3-7. I'm trying not to get my hopes up, but I can't help but be hopeful this will do the trick! I have a cd12 ultrasound next Friday - what should I be hoping to hear as far as numbers go? Also, do I need any heads up on side effects over the next couple of days/weeks? Thanks ladies!

Two DDs 10/08 and 08/10, no primary IF
TTC #3 since 10/2011 - dx unexplained/weak ovulation
 3 BFN clomid + TI cycles, 5 BFN clomid/gonal f IUIs, 1 mmc IUI
2/19/2014 IVF #1 Unexpected low E2 (oversuppressed) -> increased to max doses = 3 or 4 follicles, converting to IUI
BFFP Saw 1 beautiful heartbeat at 6w6d, follow up u/s at 9w showed mmc. Eff this.
NTNP 5/2014-9/2014, OPKs and TI 10/2014 - 1/2015. 
RPL testing all normal, AFC, AMH, and FSH all normal. 
IVF 1.2 1/22/2014 natural cycle start, AFC 28, 300 gonal f/150menopur. 
ER 2/3/15 14R 8M 3F w/ICSI Day 5 transfer on 2/8/15 of one "Grade A+" blast and have TWO frosties!

    Good luck! I got triplets from Clomid, so I would be hoping for no more than 2 almost mature follies on cd12. I wouldn't want to trigger until they are at least 19mm. I took mine in the evening, it did give me mood swings...maybe some extra bitchyness...but what I hated the most was the night sweats.

    When you got pregnant with the triplets, did they see 3 mature (or almost mature) follicles?

    Yes, I had 3 mature follies, and 1 more that was close. But I had already been through 3 failed unmedicated IUI's and 2 failed Clomid IUI's so they weren't thinking that there was any risk LOL. In fact I had already bought injectable meds to use on the next cycle figuring it wouldn't work.
