Leave in conditioner

Can ya'll recommend a leave in conditioner (preferably a spray) for my lo. I flip flop Burts Bees & Mustela hair and body washes but mostly use the Mustela on nights I wash her hair. Her hair feels dry to me. It's more dry feeling in the back. I also have the California Baby conditioner that says you can leave in or rinse but I don't feel like it works that great. Not sure of one of the soaps I'm using is drying her hair out or our water maybe. I'm not really into having her hair smell all fruity like strawberry or melon etc...does anyone know if you have just use adult spray conditioner like biolage etc...? Any input would be helpful. Thanks!

Re: Leave in conditioner

  • My LO's hair is kind of 'fried' in the back from rubbing her head back and forth against the crib sheet when she's falling asleep. I just use a little bit of my own leave in conditioner (R&B from Lush Cosmetics) that I dab onto the back of her head just after her bath. It's a very thick cream and all I need to use for her is what I get from running my finger over the top lightly. All I need to use for me is about a fingertips worth and I have very long hair.

  • DD2's hair on the back gets that way after she sleeps. It will go away when their hair grows out. DD1 had the barcode from sleeping on her back and now she has beautiful long (2/3 the way down her back) curly hair and no sign of damage. She's almost three, but since her hair got passed her shoulders, I used regular shampoo and conditioner. Before that, I used the moisturizing J&J (I think it is blue?) when the lavender stuff wasn't doing the job anymore.

  • I'm a hairdresser and I always recommend Biolage's Smooth and Shine Milk! It has a silicone base--gives the hair more slip to get through tangles easier and helps tame static and bed head easily. I use it on my hair and my sons--wet or dry, it's an all around great product!
