Brushing Teeth - XP

Hi All -- I have a typical FTM question.  How am I supposed to brush my 11 mo daughter's teeth?  I got the little rubber toothbrush thing that goes on the end of your finger and child safe toothpaste.  We bathe her every other night and brush her teeth then (well try to anyway). I know we should do it every night, but we are still trying to figure this out.  Anyway, she only lets me put the toothbrush in her mouth if I will let her bite on it.  She won't actually let me brush anything.  Any tricks you know of? TIA.

I starting brushing DS's teeth at 6 months when he got his first tooth. I used the finger toothbrush then, but I use the rubber one with the handle now because he'll try to bite me. I brush his teeth every morning after breakfast. He loves it because the fluoride free toothpaste tastes like apples and pears Earth's best brand. Good luck!

We have a vibrating toothbrush from the dollar store that he loves. We turn it on and he gums at it.

It is difficult to brush the same way we do for his brother, but we do what we can, and he'll get the idea eventually.

We just use the little plastic finger brush. Also, there is a baby-safe banana toothbrush/teether toy we let her play with that I hope it also getting her used to the idea. So far she doesn't mind the rubber brush, but we don't do it for long at all each time.
