So DD nearly gave me a heart attack new years eve, I had her on the couch in her boppy with my leg on the outside of the couch for a quick diaper change, the second I took my hands off her to close up her dirty diaper she grabbed her boppy and flipped it and herself over my leg and off the couch. She managed to land on her boppy and just laughed, but my heart was in my throat. I talked to her pedi who gave me a short list of things to watch for, and she's hasn't done anything on the list so she's fine. She has been rolling all over the floor during tummy time so all I can think now is what a way to tell me she's ready to roll lol.

Glad she's ok!  DS rolled off the couch during a diaper change a couple of months ago, and unfortunately landed on our hardwood floor...he cried for just a few seconds, but I nearly had a meltdown!  Thankfully he was ok (I did call the pedi), but that was the end of changes on a raised surface!

Oh wow, we live in an apartment with carpet so not sure what's underneath, I was really shocked she rolled off since she hadn't been rolling yet and had to get over my leg to fall, not to mention the boppy. She's not allowed on the couch for now unless she's being held now that she has done that and is rolling, don't want her falling off again if we can help it. I started changing her on the floor so she won't get hurt rolling away lol
