Nap time in the crib was an epic fail

I don't understand why B refuses to nap in his crib and if he actually manages to fall asleep it's for maybe 20 minutes.  He typically naps in the living room in his swing and will nap anywhere from 1hr to 3hrs.  He is only 4 months old but is already the length of the swing and it's only a matter of time before he can't sleep in there anymore.  Plus it's difficult for me to get much during his naps because I have to be quiet for fear of waking him.  He sleeps 8-10 hours in his crib at night but during the day forget it.  I want to try and transition him before we have to so he has time to adjust.  Anyone else have this issue?  Any tips or suggestions?

IVF#2 and Stims started 12/2 ER 12/16 ET 12/21 transferred two beautiful blastocysts. Please stick LO's! BFP 12/26

    Ahh glad I'm not alone here!! Sorry I don't have any advice but I hope our LOs like napping in their crib soon and longer than 20 min! Lol

    BFP#2~12/15/11~EDD 8/25/12, Hannah born 8/22/12~ 7lbs 10oz & 21 in. long. :)

    BFP#3~1/12/14~EDD 9/23/14, Found out baby is a girl!~4/18/14 :)

    Same issue here! DD sleeps all night in crib (well, with typical wake ups) but only 45 min max in her crib during the day. It's so weird!

    Hi! So sorry I don't have advice! I've only tried to put G in her crib a handful of times. She's still in her bassinet in our room! And she never naps in the bassinet...usually in my lap or her car seat if we're out. I haven't implemented any routine, besides bath time and a very loose time frame for bed time. Hope you get your little man to enjoy napping in his crib soon!
