I see so many new faces here, it's time to play the GTKY game again.
What's the worst/most embarassing CD/Album you've ever owned and do you still have it?
What is stashed under your bed/mattress?
What would you call yourself if you could choose your own name?
If you were invisible, where would you go?
If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be?
Re: GTKY New Year's Addition
What's the worst/most embarassing CD/Album you've ever owned and do you still have it? I had NKOTB cassette tapes. No, they got melted in a campfire, on purpose.
What is stashed under your bed/mattress? Socks and hand towels. My cat likes to steal them.
What would you call yourself if you could choose your own name? Still trying to figure this one out. I know I wouldn't have picked my name. I always liked Sarah, but I'm not a Sarah. Maybe Iris, Penelope, Gwyneth or Callista.
If you were invisible, where would you go? So many options! Either see what my kids actually do at school (not "nuthin"), or Area 51.
If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be? There are so many options, I'm just going to go with the first one that came to mind. I'd like to go back and see Stonehenge when it was first built and see what they actually used it for.

What's the worst/most embarassing CD/Album you've ever owned and do you still have it?
Richard Marx' debut album. I'm pretty sure it's still in the huge case full of cassette tapes that I can't bear to part with but will probably never ever ever use again. And I saw him in concert too.
What is stashed under your bed/mattress?
A storage container with extra sheets. And a thighmaster. You know, the "as seen on tv" thing Suzanne Somers used to sell a billion years ago. Yes, I actually use it on the rare occasions when I exercise.
What would you call yourself if you could choose your own name?
Good question. I've always liked the name Cassie, so maybe that.
If you were invisible, where would you go?
I can't think of anywhere good. Maybe someplace really quiet and comfy to sleep where nobody would disturb me.
If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be?
Ugh, I always feel like I should have something impressive to say in response to questions like this. I have no clue.
What's the worst/most embarassing CD/Album you've ever owned and do you still have it? Another Bad Creation and yes I still have it.
What is stashed under your bed/mattress? Nothing, dust bunnies probably.
What would you call yourself if you could choose your own name? Don't really know.
If you were invisible, where would you go? Where wouldn't I go? Follow people around just for entertainement.
If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be? The moon landing and the first steps in the moon
Hey, I've been lurking here, so I guess I'll play.
Most embarrassing CD: American Idol Season 1 CD. I'm not sure if it's still around here somewhere. I think I sold it at a yardsale or something.
Under my bed: Plastic tubs filled with out of season clothing.
Choose my own name: I love my name, Sarah. If I *had to* change it, I'd choose Emily or Catherine.
Invisible: Hmm.. this is a hard one. I'm not much of a creeper. I don't think I can answer lol.
Witness past, present, future: Well, I hope I am present to witness important milestones in my DD's/possible future child's lives. It might be neat to go back in the past and attend my parents and grandparents weddings.
I figured I'd finally introduce myself over here after lurking for awhile (I recognize some of you from the regular Parenting board where I'm a sometimes poster/replier).
I'm currently 35, DH is 36. I have a 2 year old DD (October 2010 baby). I am a working mom and we are going to start trying for baby #2 sometime this spring (hopefully).
What's the worst/most embarassing CD/Album you've ever owned and do you still have it? Rick Astley, Whenever You Need Somebody. No, I think it was lost on one of my many moves.
What is stashed under your bed/mattress? Nothing, unless DD is hiding her socks and shirts under there again (I clean them out a couple of times a week).
What would you call yourself if you could choose your own name? I like my name and I don't think I would change it.
If you were invisible, where would you go? Hmmm... not really sure.
If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be? I like the idea of seeing my parents or grandparents weddings. Although seeing the building of Stonehenge and what they used it for would be awesome!
I forgot about the GoGos! I had one of their albums too but I no longer own it.

What's the worst/most embarassing CD/Album you've ever owned and do you still have it? probably a tie between prince and lionel richie, or maybe cindy lauper but Ikinda still love her. No, I have no clue what happened to my "tapes" my records were awesome and not shameful tho!
What is stashed under your bed/mattress? our porn collection.
and my box of wrapping paper stash.
What would you call yourself if you could choose your own name? REalllly tough for me but probably sophia. Or one of my daughters names :-)
If you were invisible, where would you go? sooo many places, its hard to pick one. I would probably come home and spy on my husband caring for my daughter during the day :-)
If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be? I would witness the death of my first daughter.
Late to the party, as usual!
What's the worst/most embarassing CD/Album you've ever owned and do you still have it?
I recall having cassettes.. lots and lots of cassettes. Probably several Air Supply. I think they're buried in a box in the basement somewhere. Pretty sure I never got rid of them.
What is stashed under your bed/mattress?
Dust bunnies
What would you call yourself if you could choose your own name?
I always loved Stevie, as in Stevie Nicks.
If you were invisible, where would you go?
Areas that were off limits to the general public, like the private areas of the White House. That'd be cool.
If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be?
Not one single event, but I'd love to see how our nation's government came about... all that political wrangling would be interesting.
What's the worst/most embarassing CD/Album you've ever owned and do you still have it?
Weirdly enough, I don't own any albums I'm embarrassed about, but one that makes me shake my head is a Corrs CD. Totally not my kind of music, but I liked one song on there.
What is stashed under your bed/mattress?
Nothing, but we do put tissue paper between the mattresses to flatten them out.
What would you call yourself if you could choose your own name?
I've always loved Tikiri, a traditional/ancestral name from my mother's family.
If you were invisible, where would you go?
I'd sneak into movies and big musicals, etc. to see them for free!
If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be?
I studied Medieval/Renaissance history in college, so I'd love to go back in time and see what people like King Henry VIII, Anne Boleyn, and all of those Tudor people looked like! I'd want to take photos to bring back home to prove I was there, but it would have to happen quickly before they caught me and burned me at the stake or something for being a witch ... or I caught the Plague!
What's the worst/most embarrassing CD/Album you've ever owned and do you still have it?
Probably Aqua's Aquarium (with the song "Barbie Girl") but I don't still have it. When DH and I moved two years ago, I purged CDs.
What is stashed under your bed/mattress?
A bin full of DH's dress socks. Another bin with my Summer pjs. And DH's baseball cards.
What would you call yourself if you could choose your own name?
I'm happy with Robyn.
If you were invisible, where would you go?
I'd find a nice quiet bedroom and take a long, uninterrupted nap.
If you could witness any event past, present or future, what would it be?
I'd love to be in NYC when WWII ended. I'm sure that was amazing. Everyone was so happy for the future.
