Shrimp Allergies?

So just the other day my husband informed me that his dad and uncle have shrimp allergies. I didn't know. But at Christmas my uncle brought shrimp over and we ate that for a couple days.  About a day in my little one got a rash. we have no idea what might have caused it, could me eating shrimp and breast feeding her have caused some of the rash? if it helps his dad can eat it, but cant touch it raw, his uncle (his dads twin) can touch it raw and just cant eat it. Just wondering so that when we go to the doctors we can ask about whether this is a possibility and should i avoid shrimp until she stops feeding from me?
