Pardon my ignorance if I'm wrong, but aren't these dolls named after real girls?
The "Girl of the Year Doll" (like Saige) is named after/inspired by a real girl, I believe.
I can't believe how many new dolls they have-when I was growing up there was Felicity, Kirsten, Samantha, and Molly although I remember them introducing Addy.
