BRU - Returns.... do I need a receipt?

I got few gift from BRU, and I thought I had the gift receipts for them, but cant seem to find them.  I'm not returning today, just wondered if it was still an option.  They were purchased off my registry if that helps....

They can use your registry, but beware, they will give you the lowest selling price. I returned a video monitor that had been purchased for me, I know the person paid $124 and they only wanted to give me $50 store credit without the receipt.

You can use the registry LOG as a receipt but try to do it ASAP as some stuff with go onto clearance and you will only be refunded the current price of the item all in Babies R Us bucks.
