Where Do I start?

I'm 14 weeks along and have always known I have wanted a natural birth. My OB is very supportive. However, I believe he mainly works with a nearby hospital, and I am looking into a specific birthing center.  

I have no idea where to start. I've visited the site, but it doesn't answer my questions. Should I visit this birthing center soon? If I choose a birthing center does it mean I can't work with my OB anymore? 

What are the steps I should be taking at this point? I'm a first time mom...sorry if this question has been answered millions of times!

I would definitely visit the birthing center and find out more information.  Birthing centers are usually run by a group of midwives, so I'm sure you would probably be under their care.  OBs deliver in hospitals.  I've heard lots of great things about birthing centers, and I'm sure you would be in good hands if you decided to switch.    Good luck!

I would visit your center and ask questions there.  Your provider will be able to tell you where they have rights and where they don't.  Keep on researching!!  Good luck!
