Zoloft getting pregnant

I take 25mg of Zoloft and would like to get pregnant this February.
Of course I will take with my doctor about this but what are your experiences in getting pregnant while on an antidepressant. I know it's not preferred but I do get very depressed my first trimester and just wonder if anyone else has a story to relate? I think ill wean off my 25 throughout January and go from there but I'm nervous...

I would not wean off. I did that during my first pregnancy and I turned into a basket case. I ended up having to leave work at 6 months. Nobody could convince me to re-start because at that point I became paranoid about everything and thought everything I did was going to hurt the baby.

I tried to wean off when I was TTC and it didn't go well for me, so I am back on lexapro. For me the benefits outweigh the risks.

You can always try weaning off and if it doesn't go well, get back on. I'd suggest finding a good psychiatrist to monitor you and your meds throughout the pregnancy. It's really important to have a specialist on your side.

I am on 150 mg of Zoloft and am 18 weeks pregnant.  I had a long talk with my therapist before TTC and we agreed it was best for me to stay on it.
