Crawling!

Life will never be the same again. LO is also pulling himself up.

What is everyone doing for baby proofing?

We've secured some of our shelves, put bumpers on the coffee table, and will be getting gate soon.

How exciting! DS began crawling at exactly 8 months but has been pulling up since about 7 months. We have always had electrical socket covers in but I think we will change them out to the sliding entire outlet cover plates instead. We have an entire gated in play room that has nothing but his toys and the floor is covered in those foam puzzle pieces and thats where we let him crawl around for now but we will be installing gates at the top and bottom of the staircase and getting bumpers for the coffee table. Once he starts walking we will get all of the other fun stuff like the toilet seat guard, cabinet latches, etc.

I can't wait for our LO to crawl even though I know chasing him will be exhausting!  We need to think about baby proofing very soon.  Plus my H has a problem with leaving all kinds of stuff laying around so he will need to change that.  At least our house will be cleaner!
