Is baby big enough now to be kicking ribs at 25 weeks?? I keep getting a pain were my lower ribs are on my left side, but is comes and goes quickly. Its my first pregnancy and i have no clue if that is him or something else

Re: Question!

  • It could be. I've been feeling my LO kick for a few weeks now. If the paid is really bad though, you may want to mention it to your OB at your next appointment because it could be caused by something else.

  • Mine could reach my ribs at 26 weeks so it is certainly possible. There is no doubt about what is happening when my LO decides to kick something.

  • Mine just started this a few days ago. Not kicking all the time but shoving body parts under my rib cage. I didn't have this until the last month or so with my DS. Guess our little ones are exploring!

  • At 25 weeks your uterus is at least 2in above your belly button on avg so esp if you're sitting, it could prob def reach your ribs...

  • I am 26 weeks and when I am sitting I get a lot of jabs at my ribs. When I am laying down the movement is lower
  • I didn't think he would be so long already, but he has been up in my ribs for a while now.  It's uncomfortable for me to bend over or sit slouched over now. I'm going for an u/s tommorrow so I'm excited to see what he is doing in there.
