How was your New Year's?

I am at work so it was pretty lame. We did have a sparkling cider toast and bagels in the break room. Woohoo! I can't imagine that it would have been much crazier at home ... I would probably have been in bed before midnight. I actually chose to work tonight for the time and a half so I am really not complaining. How did you spend your evening? Any resolutions? (none here)

Mine was fine; I was just happy to have the day off today so I didn't have to get up early! DH went to a church service that was expected to last til 9 and was in kind of a shady part of town, so DD and I stayed home and had a girls' night. We ate dinner and then I let her watch a movie for the first time. Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2. The only sad thing there is that DH and I watched the rest of it after he got home and she was in bed. LOL!!!

Finished the night by watching HIMYM on netflix and falling asleep on the couch. I vaguely remember waking up for a second to see the ball drop and kiss DH.

ETA: No definite resolutions, but I am planning a sugar-free and spending freeze in January. I've been eating way too many sweets, and we've been hemorrhaging money.

Ours was fine, standard for the overrated night it is. Ordered some unhealthy food, watched a movie with the H, then watched Jennie McCarthy act like a ho as the ball dropped.

 No resolutions here, I usually never make them either.

It was nice, we were at the ILs, so we hung around there, drank too much wine, played cards, and then went to sleep. Nothing too crazy, but fun!
