I'm sitting in the hospital with my little guy trying not to cry. Anyone want to share some funny GIFS with me? I'm mobile bumping and those always make me smile.

DH is a med student and he wants you to know this wasnt your fault. It was the fault of a dirty needle or unsterile injection site or scrape or cut.
Vaccines are good and safe. This is really sh!tty luck.

I chose to give him the pneumonia vax in hope of boosting his immune system. Now we are in the hospital... I know vaccines are safe, I just wish this didn't happen.

You're taking care of your kid in a hospital, almost completely by yourself. You're awesome.
Please don't beat yourself up!! We spend a shitton of time at the hospital, and this comes up every so often. It's not the vax, it's someone not being vigilant about infection prevention. FWIW, ds has been admitted for issues that originated as elective procedures that were supposed to improve his health and totally backfired. Not even the doctors saw it coming. So, again, you were trying to do the right thing!! So let me entertain you.
