I was watching The Next Great Baker and there was a contestant called Emme but they pronounced it "Em" and I've never heard it said this way. I always pronounced it "Em-ee". How do you guys say it?

I say "Em" just like Elle, I say "El" not "Ellie".

I would assume it was shortened from Emmeline and is supposed to be Em-mee. Why all the exyra letters if it's just supposed to be Em?

I guess I am the oddball because I've always thought it was pronounced Em-ee. Actually there was fashion show with a host named Emme (pronounced Em-ee) on E!. The show was called Fashion Emergency.
