Recommend your cool mist humidifier...

Our humidifier just died and I never liked it anyway, so I'm now in search of a really good cool mist humidifier. Please recommend yours... thank you!

  • Another vote for a Crane.  We have the dog and have been very happy with it.  I went through 2 Vicks humidifiers and hated them plus I could never find the filter replacements for them.
  • Another vote for Crane! Works great, and I love that it doesn't have filters that need replaced.

  • Love my Homedics one, not sure if they still make it.  But, it has a sound machine and night light built into it!

  • Both of our cranes broke within a year. Won't be buying more from them.

  • I have the  cool mist teardrop Crane humidifier that seems to work pretty well and easy to maintain.  We use ours infrequently (a few times a year), so no telling how they hold up over time.

  • We have the Honeywell Germ Free cool mist humidifer in both our room, and in DD's.  Love it.  Large tank, it does have a filter in it that needs to be replaced every few months, but not that expensive so NBD.  Its a little pricey at ~$70, but I've been very happy with it.  I also like the slight fan noise it provides, just enough very light, whitenoise for sleeping.  I think we got ours at Target, but you can probably shop around for the best price.
