Boys Name Opinion

We are totally back to the drawing board with boys names because we don't love any name on our current list. DS1 is Gavin. What are your thoughts on Landon? The full name would be Landon Edward.

I like it.

Gavin and Landon totally sound like brothers. I'm not sure about Edward as MN, but that's just me...

I love it. I have a nephew name Gavin and his brother is Tristan. They were actually going to go with Landon but it didn't work great with their last name.

Gavin is "trendier" than Landon, but it doesn't seem to rank above 30, generally, and Landon is more like 40. In our area, they are even less "trendy" than that. I don't really consider either trendy, but if they are that doesn't bother me.

Also, Edward is my dad's name, so that's why we're using that as the MN.

I'm not a HUGE fan of Landon, mainly b/c I feel it's not a name that grows with the child. Maybe that's just me. But like a pp suggested, I DO really like the name Dylan and I think it goes just fine with Gavin, too.
