Gawd, I keep forgetting we have the amber necklace (must find it and put it in sight to try tomorrow). Right now Tylenol and the "natural" orajel, but I even tried it and it doesn't seem to do anything. DS doesn't like the cold rubber teethers, but he seemed to enjoy this strawberry looking one that you can put ice inside. He liked sucking the moisture out of it.

The finger no longer works once the initial tooth is out. Those effers are sharp!
When I was a nanny, my charges loved frozen banana put into those mesh feeders. The other suggestions above are great. Howell loves chewing fabric so the washcloth is a great choice for him.
She's not teething yet, or at least I don't see or feel any and she doesn't seem to be in any pain. She does drool and chew EVERYTHING though, but I thought the two went hand in hand and was pretty normal at this age.
I want to get an amber necklace. We also have a mesh feeder and I plan to freeze some BM in ice cube trays and put the cube in the feeder for her.
Tylenol every 46 hours depending on fussiness. Teething tablets with the Tylenol if still fussy after 30 minutes. Every once in a while I will use orajel but not often. It just doesn't seem to work as well and they hate it.

Where can I find these tablet thingies?
Target has them. Hylands is the brand.

SCANDAL!
We use tylenol and frozen wash cloths. Isn't there a warning about using Ibuprofin (Motrin) under 6 months?
