Nap time is becoming my nemesis!

So after almost two hours and me finally holding the door shut, DS cried himself to sleep on the floor by the door. It breaks my heart to hear him cry but he desperately needs a nap.

After 10 minutes I would have loaded him into the car and drove around the block

Maybe try and switch his nap schedule to a little later in the day, we had to do that and now he sleeps like a champ again...we ,over it up a half hour and had great success , hang in there

sounds stressful for everyone! maybe he isn't tired enough yet, try bumping up naptime a little maybe that will help? I had to omit our morning naps for a longer afternoon nap recently, its no struggle, they go to sleep so much easier that way. If your sure he really does need that nap try going for a ride in the car or if you have a baby carrier wear him and walk aroudn the house
