I have a UTI. Blech!
Is there anything I can do at home to treat this or do I have to go to the doc? The only reason I'm asking is because I've had it since yesterday and the doc isn't open on the weekends, I have to call at 7am tomorrow and hope for an open appointment slot, or wait until Wednesday or later to get in. So, if I could do something at home, that would be ideal.
Re: UTI
Cranberry concentrate caplets, changes the acidity of urine. Slows bacteria growth.
Cystex, for pain antimicrobial.
Azostandard, for bladder pain. Turns urine dark/bright orange.
This should limp you through til Monday. If you have any "Sulfa" antibiotics left over, take one 2x day until you can see your doc.
Lots of water sister lots of luck!
SCANDAL!
If you try to drink the cranberry juice it has to be 100% cranberry juice, not the cocktail stuff.
AZO helped get me through till I could see the doctor.
Stephanie, thanks for info on minute clinic!! I didn't know they'd do all that there! I'll head to one when DH gets home!
As always, you ladies are the best! Thanks
