Anyone have any fun plans or traditions? I am hoping LO will be asleep and I can just watch the ball drop. We will be at home so kind of boring but I am looking forward to not working on Tuesday!
I work from 3 to 11:30pm. So, I won't be home until 11:45pm on NYE, but SO and I always just watch the ball drop at home, kiss each other, and go to bed. I work on New Year's Day.
I went to a party one year. It ended up with a guy bleeding all over the place from being knocked into the wall behind the jacuzzi in the room, the ambulance being called, and me having to carry my best friend out of the hotel because she was beyond drunk and only 18 before the cops/ambulance arrived. She threw up in my car and ended up azz up on my couch puking all over the place. I had to drag her down the stairs to my room before my mom got home. The hotel room was in her name...someone snagged the change cup everyone had been throwing money in to pay for the room and the liquor, so she ended up paying 300 for the room and then another 300 for a biohazard cleaning because of the blood. Oh and she spent over 200 on liquor. Soooo....a quiet night in has been ideal since, haha.
I'm usually one that's big on traditions but, for some reason, New Year's has never been a huge holiday for me. DH and I usually go away for the night but rarely do we make it to midnight, haha. Because we have LO this year, it's even LESS likely that we'll make it to midnight. I think we're gonna grab a bottle of champagne and watch movies and maybe watch the ball drop...of course that's no fun without *** Clark.

haha! You got censored! Second time in two days I've seen something silly censored :-)
It will be just me and baby this year, so I don't see us staying up until midnight. She goes to bed between 7 and 8 and wakes up anywhere from 5-7, so it would be terrible for me to wait until midnight to go to bed. Of course, things weren't much different before I had the baby, but I guess I'm just boring.

We used to drink and watch the ball drop at H's best friend's after their kids went to bed, however, this year we both have little babies and value sleep. Lol. I don't think I can even stay up till midnight anymore! I can barely make it past 10.

I'm working until 11:30ish so I'll be missing everything. I also have to take the long way home because Disney is having "perimeter fireworks." It will take over 45 minutes instead of 20.
All I know is, Disney will have a huge announcement, and I can't wait!!!

We've been going to the block party in our city a couple of times. Last year we went to Las Vegas. Talk about lots if people. It was fun but I was KU and didn't know it so I felt crappy and was b1tchy. This year my parents want me to come over to play cards but DS sleeps terribly over there and he just got back into a rhythm since going there for Christmas. I dunno. Maybe I'll go but I think I'd much rather be in bed.
