Bad Cough?

Anyone dealing with their LO having a bad cough? My DS is almost 9 weeks and over the last day has developed this cough and its stressing me out!! He has no temp and is still eating but I don't want it to get any worse. Of course we just got pummeled with snow too last night so we are stuck at home. My question is would you call the dr today or wait it out until Monday when the office opens??

My pedi said to always call for a cough in a baby this young.

my lo is 9weeks and is getting over RSV. it started with a cough and then congestion. All Dr. wanted us to do is watch his breathing and keep him near a humidifier.

Hopefully your lo just has a cold and gets better soon.

I would call. It's better to be safe than sorry.

We went through this at 6wks. Turns out Zoe had RSV which had turned into bronchiolitis. We ended up spending three night in a nearby children's hospital because her oxygen level would drop too low when she was sleeping. I vote call pedi just to be safe. I did not think she was that sick and never would have guessed she needed three days of oxygen.

Thanks I'm calling the pedi now!! RSV scares me so much. That was my first thought when he started coughing. I'm glad your LO's are all ok!!

we just got back from the hospital for 5 days after we went in because of a cough. definitely go get it checked out asap!
