Had anyone that EBF had to give a bottle of formula and if so how many ounces did you do? I don't have enough BM pumped for while I'm gone tomorrow and wanted to get an idea of how much formula to give. If she eats 3 to 4 oz of BM at a time, should she get the same amount of formula.

Sorry if this is a silly question... any insight would be great.

When we supplemented with our first ds and the first couple weeks with ds2, we did the same amount as we would have given of breastmilk.

Same amount as you'd give of breast milk. I'd give 4oz.
