Is it just me?

I'm not an official 2u2, kiddos are 24 months and 9 days apart but I figured I would have the best luck getting thoughts. I have two boys and although both are great kids I am having some crazy days and the last few days I feel like I have no patience.

A casual friend of mine has two girls that are 17 months apart and she said balancing each of their needs was really hard at first and she felt extremely overwhelmed at first but that it gets better.

I don't know if it's the snow and not getting out of the house much but I feel like ds1 won't listen to me at all the past few days.

Very normal I think.  I also think that boys are just more difficult than girls at this age ( and the teenage years are brutal for moms of girls).  There are many days that I feel like I'm talking to myself because neither kid listens to me.

Normal.  From my observations, boys are just more difficult to manage than girls.  If we don't get outdoor, physical activity daily, the wheels eventually come off.  My boys won't sit and colour or even sit and watch tv for any length of time.  Always they want to interact with me, always they are getting on each other's nerves, there is always something.

It is better now that the kids are older (4 and 5.5) but the first few years of having 2 bipeds was rough.
