Third trimester!!

Welcome to any of the April mama's entering the third tri! I've hit 27 weeks today and cannot believe how fast this pregnancy has gone so far. Will you guys be using the third tri board much? It's silly but it freaks me out seeing birth stories on that board, even though I love reading them, as it makes me realise just how much stuff I have to do within the next 13 weeks.

Have you guys done much in terms on the nursery? DH and I started last week, but still have lots to do.

Exciting! In one week I'll be in the same boat. I can't believe how fast time has flown by! We still have a lot to do, but we've been holding off on major preparations because there's a chance we could be moving shortly after the birth, and we won't know for sure until probably February. We are currently renting an apartment (2 bedroom and a den), and our plan is to make the den, which is now an office, into the nursery. This requires a lot of reorganization and purging of our things because we have very little free space. If we do end up moving, we don't need to fully set up the nursery because we're going to use a cradle at first in our bedroom. This whole situation is causing me some stress, but I know in the end it will all get done. My plan is to start purging and reorganizing after New Years and get ourselves ready for whatever happens. At least that way I feel like I'm being productive and can satisfy my nesting urge!

Exciting! I'll be joining you on Thursday!

I will check in on the board on occasion, but the April board will continue to be my primary.  I never spent much time on either of the first two tri boards, just popped in!

My nursery is done but I'm sort of anal that way.  also, we didn't paint, and we had moved into a brand new house so I didn't have to do anything to the room -- it was empty and planned to be the nursery. 

I am also paranoid about pre-term labor since this has happened to my SIL and two of my dear friends, so I wanted EVERYTHING done before I hit the third tri -- that way I can just relax and enjoy winter (as much as possible - I'm in Minnesota).

I've registered, the showers are being planned, we've registered with a daycare, nursery is done, and we start childbirth / newborn care classes in February!

It starts when the 27th week ends.  When your ticker says 27 weeks it means that you have 27 weeks behind you, and are entering into your 28th week.

So exciting! Ill be joining you on friday : I havent gotten anything set up, we are moving the wnd of january ill be 30 weeks pregnant.. then I can finally get my butt in gear and start setting up our little mans nursery.

Joining you on Wednesday! So crazy. I can't believe how fast time has gone, and I can't believe I get to meet my little guy in just a few months!!

I will be there soon myself and can't believe it. My nursery consists of some boxes from IKEA lying on the floor. My hope is to assemble one thing each week, but first I have to clear some bookcases and consolidate 2 into 1. I figure it's a good activity for the dead of winter when you don't want to go outside much anyway.

That's so exciting! Congrats! I am still 3 weeks away... 

 In terms of nursery, we have ordered the furniture and my husband painted the room today. We will be painting safari animals in the next few weeks. With my DD it took longer to do the animals, tree, grass and other decorations than I anticipated, so we are starting a month earlier this time. I don't want to be finishing up the nursery after the baby comes, like I did the first time around.
