What formula can we use?

I have EP'd for 8 mos. and my supply is having a hard time keeping up. DS is allergic to dairy and soy and is intolerant to corn. When I need to supplement what can I use? Anything? I am worried! I looked on the can of Alimentum and corn is prominent.

    You may need Elecare or Neocate. I would talk to your pedi about this ASAP so you have a backup plan. 

     But to be honest- they taste like crap. So going from sweet tasting BM to supplementing with one of those might be hard. Depending on how much supplementing you need to do maybe you can add in an extra meal for LO instead. 

    When I used to EP for DS - when my supply was not enough that day he would just get a little extra solids (I was maybe missing 2-4 oz- nothing major).

    DS has same allergies, we are currently on Elecare  nd he is still having reactions. I think since he's already 8 months give the extra food like pp said. The Elecare is not worth the $$$$$$ that it is. We are only at 5 months on the 31st. Loooong way to go. Good luck!
