I'm really loving the name Abel right now and was trying to find inspiration for middle names. Any suggestions on middle names that would go well with it? And do you think it is too much with my DS being name Alec?
I love Abel, but I do think it's too similar to Alec. Sorry.

This kid may not have a lot of bowel, but he has plenty of guts! DS born at 34 weeks with (surprise!) gastroschisis turned short bowel syndrome. 131 days in the NICU, 7 trips to the OR, G-button, daily TPN....
We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.
I was thinking they might sound too similar. DH seem to like Short four letter names. On our list we have Leon, Liam, Abel, Levi, Dean, Theo, Adam, Noah. For girls we have Isla, Leah...which sound the same. Haha But our name lists are huge.
I think they look simialar but sound different enough. DS is Abel and I love it. I chose a family middle name so maybe you can look to important men in his life for a middle name.

I think that it's fine with Alec.
