NYE suggestions

Its my turn this year to have my 5 yr old son with me on New Years....who has suggestions to make it a fun night??

    Stay home. Or go to someone's house but don't stay until midnight. No one wants to be up that late on that holiday hanging out with someone's 5yo.

    Our local mall has a kid NYE event from 11-1pm on Dec 31st. Maybe you can look into something like that too? At that age I remember getting the 'okay' from mom to stay up and I would try really hard too! We would good desserts after dinner, things I normally wouldn't be allowed to eat :)

    Thanks for asking! We went to Party City and got little noise makers and hats. Wore them all night long. I made pizza rolls, chips n dip, I cut up some fruit & cheese and made popcorn. We snacked all night and celebrated the new year at 10pm. We were just too tired to make it until midnight....plus, he never knew the difference.
