This is something I would really like to get into and I will soon be getting the stuff for a trial run. Ideally, I would like to make and can my baby food. Any tips or experiences?
I do. I have never done baby food though. My best tip is to not follow recipes exactly, taste as you go, it depends on the quality and state of your food you are preserving.
Have not tried it yet. I do plan on making my own baby food though. A friend of mine who made her DD food did recommend not spending a bunch of money on different baby food making equipment. She said the things that steam and puree for you are difficult to clean. That its just as easy to use a regular saucepan with steam basket.
