Has anyone tried the cough syrup trick to thin mucous? I read that in a book today called The Inpatient Womans Guide to Getting Pregnant"

    When we first decided to get pregnant I charted (temp) and used ovulation kits.  Then after a few months I added mucinex.  That also didn't work.  Then we gave up and a few months later found out we were pregnant.  So I have no idea if it works.  It didn't work for us.  It took us 8 months to get pregnant.

    I would have had to have cervical mucus in the first place in order to have something to thin. I used "PreSeed" to make up for my utter lack of cervical mucus.
