First day back at work and first time pumping. Our lactation room stinks. It's a walled off section in the bathroom, so sitting hear listening to toilets flush and bodily noises over the roar of my pump. That's all... just wanted to complain lol. I miss my baby :

Gross.  Just start pumping in the breakroom to demonstrate your disapproval and until they can get you a better place to pump.

today is my first day back to work too (miss my baby like crazy).  We do not have a lactation room, so I asked my boss if I could cover up the windows on one of the open offices and she agreed.  Went in there once this morning and during my lunch break...hope that will be enough until I get home.  Perhaps you could ask for another place since the bathroom is stinky

That irritates me a lot, unless there truly is no other way they could have made additional accommodations for you. I would rather pump in my car. Gross.

Augh, sorry to hear that!  One of coworkers said she also had to pump in the bathroom when she had her first job.  She had a retail job in a small store with 3 other men so the only place available for her back then was the women's bathroom!

I am SO fortunate that I have an office to use!
