Foot and leg pain

In the last few days, I have developed foot pain in my right foot that radiates to my leg.  For those on mobile, my son is 12 weeks old.  It doesn't seem to fit the descriptions of plantar fasciitis that I've read online, but considering I have suddenly started wearing heels occasionally after many months of not, plus I am still carrying 30 pounds of pregnancy weight and I've started working out after doing nothing during pregnancy (in sneakers that are years old), I am guessing the foot pain makes perfect sense.  Has anyone else experienced this?  I bought new sneakers but I'm not sure what else I should do.

I'm  not sure if this is the same thing but I had problems from the beginning with this. I had to go to an orthopedist and get an MRI. Apparently between my weight gain and imflammation caused by the birth, I had to do a course of steroids and am not in physical therapy. Things are much better now.
