b-day part locations?

Looking for location ideas outside of the home to hold a belated birthday party for my LO in mid January.  No clubhouse or church hall available to us.  Any ideas?

We went to an indoor pool. It had tables for snacks and cake and lots of fun for all the kids.

Do you live somewhere warm?  Would a park work?

Any indoor play areas?  I remember b-day parties at McDonald's play places were the coolest when I was a kid.    Also, call around to a few schools...specifically private and other non-public schools, they may be willing to rent out their gym on a weekend.
